So I went to a website that shall not be named and had the following experience:

No longer crabby about grilling crab
( Bob Chamberlin / Los Angeles Times )
Grilled crabs for dinner. Recipe here.

You know what happened when I put my mouse on the "recipe here" section? Not even a hyperlink.

I was in South Beach from Sunday - Wednesday.

I probably spent $1500 on food. It was nearly universally bad.

Notice half-sour pickles at local supermarket. Remember how much I love pickles and how rarely I buy them. Look at label and notice the sodium content seems surprisingly low.

Get home, eat two pickles. Very thirsty. Look at label again: serving size = 1/3 pickle.

Plus the super annoying Russian hostesses at every place on Ocean Dr.

Hakkassan was good when I went a few years ago, but yes, lots of bad food options down there.

Drank copious amounts of rosé wine last night with friends, followed by an amazing bottle of red but no idea what it was. Normally this is a good thing, but today it's pissing me off: headache and head spinning at the office.... Bleh.
