Apropos of powdered sugar, what's the deal with doughnuts that are simply dredged in the stuff?! Just try eating one of those in a high wind while wearing a black coat! This is definitely something that needs to be cut back on, unless they're trying to conceal footprints on the damn things.

This new restaurant opened up in Sobe and I FUCKING HATE THIS PLACE. I cannot understate this enough. Everything about this just screams out 'gigantic cocksucker' at me. So, I thought I'd share:

Flatmate uses my chopping board and "washes" it. I go to use it afterwards and it's covered in dried pieces of raw chicken. 

So there's a new-ish British pub in town, and as an Anglophile, I've been meaning to check it out especially because it looks like it could be a pleasant hangout. Turns out they're running a groupon promo. And now I realize that I'm far less likely to go because: a) I don't want to be the guy using a groupon but b) I don't want to be the guy spending double what everyone else is paying.

Looks great to me.

*I don't know if "great' is what I'd go with but it seems a tad over-priced (but then again it is Miami so maybe appropriately priced) and some of the decor is not my thing but I don't know what's offensive about it.

*I had a bitch of a time removing the chest bone from this chicken last night and then the bird itself wasn't that great.

*foodguy didn't come to my birthday party! Also, no one ordered the paella which was the whole reason I chose to go to that restaurant for my birthday!

my flight was delayed. got htere but it was already over.

well then you're excused.

Prices are actually reasonable for that area, especially the drinks.

Also, nice whisky list. Methinks the "giant cocksucker" was more than likely in reference to the type of people someone expects to find there. People like...me.
