i've been sitting at my desk for the last two hours trying to picture Matt at Costco. i've been alternately howling and cringeing. even I don't go to costco.

We went once with some friends down in Orange County. It was like going to a petting zoo. Then my wife thought we should "join" the one in San Francisco and go on a Saturday. I went, but while we were waiting in the "membership" line, I freaked out. All I could see were these giant bags of frozen chicken, two foot high packs of child molester sweats and candy and booze. And the people who love them. Don't forget the people who love them.

It makes sense that Costco sells coffins when half of their customers are hauling food out of the store on pallet carts normally reserved for moving lumber at home depot.

how do you feel about vegans? how about naked vegans? how about naked vegans throwing a dinner party ... with accordians?

In theory I hate vegans, but the one vegan I know well is a wonderful person. Also, if she were to post on that site our friend JLibourel would abandon guess her muff and relocate all of his elderly energies. Otherwise, hate.

there's one vegan I know who seems like a cool person and is super nice. Granted, I don't know her that well, but my reaction to finding out she was a vegan was all "really? I never would have guessed." I figured there would have been a bigger chance of Manton getting an eagle tattoo than of her being vegan.


the rest of the vegans i know are awful people who lack any sense of humor. One is even a strict "organic vegan", meaning only organic products can be consumed. Fuck that shit.

Even though 70% of my meals are vegetarian and even borderline vegan (wife is lactose intolerant so butter and cream is used at a minimum), I still have the hate in me. Furthermore, while I love vegetables and all, but i loathe the products that are meant to imitate meat. They're all disgusting.
