So while I was reading the 2nd/3rd paragraph, I was thinking that all they needed was a well curated craft cocktail program...

I'd be happy to buy nuts for you folks, but I hate shipping so you may never get them.

Apparently Sanbitter can no longer be sold in the US. I cant find any information about it so I'm hoping the person who told me was mistaken, but damn I love that soda.

Don't you find it far too sweet? They should cut the sugar by half, imo.

Passover - 10 more hours. Just had some fine Matzo Brie, but I'm DONE with remembering the bitterness of hard bondage.

A growler of beer just broke all over my car. Fuck. I was looking forward to it too.

It needs something to balance out the bitterness I think. I prefer Chinotto for my bitter Italian soda fix anyway. On that note, also pissing me off is I'm supposed to get a case of Lurisia Chinotto which the distributor appears to have forgotten to ship to the store.

If you don't mind the traces of alcohol, may I suggest mixing soda water with Campari? Pretty similar, if not better, and also much cheaper. I checked it earlier today and it's similarly sweet. Or get Gran Classico from K&L (or someplace else). According to A-C it's even better.

Hearing about it from my parents when they go traveling into the city and pickup cookware in Chinatown etc etc.

WTH is "Cheflin"? I keep telling them to stop spending money on "cheap" things...A quick Google search turns up with "Chefline", cookware based in Korea. The "Cheflin" they purchased states a whole bunch of gibberish information on all sides of the box and makes one point that the steel is from Germany.

I want to follow up and ask where in San Francisco or through a proxy where I can help them pickup a stainless steal wok type pan. They say they cannot find anything like this outside of Chinese store fronts and I beg to differ. I actually try to stay far away from all these Chinese stores as I think they are all illegitimate and a rip-off on everyone.

[Disclosure: I am Chinese fyi and I think the Chinese demographic here is the biggest scam ever...no integrity or sense of business ethics whatsoever] foo.gif

FWIW, they are looking for something strictly from Europe (Germany?), recs?

Chinotto costs what, 1€/L? I can't imagine Campari and soda is cheaper. I think even soda water alone costs more than Chinotto.
