My flight out there was cancelled on Friday. I'm going early next week, and then I'll see.

From the WTF department, I bought some whole-wheat crackers from Trader Joe's and then looked at the back of the box when I got home:

Does ak-mak have any nutritional value for you and your family? We will tell the story as it is and let you and your family decide.

Rice has been, and is the staple food of the Chinese and other Oriental people for centuries. Corn and beans have been the staple food of the South Americans. Wheat, on the other hand, has been the staple food of the Armenians, Greeks, Romans, and Holy Land people for nigh onto 4500 years. In the Biblical days....

Orientals and brown people, eating garbage for the 500 years they've been on the planet! Damn racist crackers.

This is where I like to bring up a kernel of wisdom my mom used to tell me. Eric, all the Chinamen in China can't be wrong.

She used to say this to me when every one of my teachers would say I wasn't trying hard enough. For some reason she doesn't appreciate it when I remind her.

Odd, I was eating roasted brussel sprouts the other night and a campari and soda (with a splash of vodka, this was a terrible idea) tonight, both times I would get the taste of cigarette ash. Gross.

I tried to be good and buy some free range eggs. Organic and whatnot......

Can't not break the yolk on the crack. All I want is an egg over easy! angry.gif

(On the plus side, I discovered organic milk is the most delicious thing known to man. Never going back to that semi-powdered commercial crap)

That was written by Soledad O'Brien and she read it on air before commenting on critical race theory.
