What do they normally go for GQgeek?

850, which itself is lower than EGs in my neck of the woods.

That's a deal.

My problem with the Mackays as well. I declined to order during the sale for exactly this reason.

I want to share with you guys how I stretched my tight fitting 808 EG Churchill.

1. I inserted bit oversized shoe trees and leave them in the shoes for 2 weeks.
2. After 2 weeks, I took the shoe trees out and tried the shoes on. If the shoes fit still too tight (which they did), I inserted Dr. Scholle gell full insoles in the shoes and then put the same trees to stretch even more. Leave them another 2 weeks or so. You need to apply shoe cream often as the leather of the shoes will dry out quickly due to streching.

3. After 2 weeks, the shoes fit like glove for me.

What's your usual size? And what's the size on the Churchill?

About inserting oversized shoe trees... at the risk of being obvious, you should be careful with solid trees since they may widen the heel inadvertently as well.
