Picked up my first Bespoke Suit yesterday - Page 2

I really like the fit and finish of the pants, but I'm not thrilled about the jacket.

I have yet to see a suit posted in this thread. Do I need to call an IT professional to have my monitor fixed?

Could you ask him if my monitor is broken too? Vox seems to be wearing what looks like a peach-coloured sportcoat.

Your coat and pants are too close in colour.

Vox is tall enough to get away with 2" cuffs. Short people should not.

My older trousers with less than a 2" cuff just look "off" to me now.

I'm always astounded about how threads quickly become about Vox, but I'm not complaining.

So, where are the pics?

Plus, everybody seems to think of Vox as a tall fellow. He definitely has a competent tailor.

Young Sterling is correct: I am 5' 10", average height in America, look up height in Amsterdam.

I don't recall seeing a single example of deep cuffs that looked bad. I have seen many in the diminutive 1" to 1.5" range that look gerbil doo-doo (some look okay, but not often.). Better none than timid.

I've worn 1.75" to 2" cuffs since a teenager, and I'm not going to change now that I have three or four toes in the grave. The main change?

Pants are longer these days. In college, there was always ankle.

Butler had a great recent comment in WAYWRN where he proposed that there was something objectively more succesful in the aesthetics of a real break.

I have no problem agreeing this while at the same time noting that there sometimes, a man should suspend a quest for beauty in deference to personal identity and obstinency.

i dont think 2 inch cuffs only belong to the tall man (although 5'10 is NOT below avg or short by any means)

i think 2 inch cuffs add flair to any man who wants a bit more stylin look. ive seen diminutive doods with 2 inch cuffs on glen plaid pants in peacoats who looked rockin

I only get 2 inch cuffs. Anything less looks wrong.

Although I find that the narrower the leg opening the larger the cuff that can work. Anyone else have any cimilar thoughts/experience?
