client's kids took us out to drinks other night..didn't wanna, tired as shit but said wtf go for an hr and catch a cab home.. headed to meatpackin' and caught an impromptu performance.. which was weird 'cause it was still the happy hour crowd @11th hour so you see a bunch of drunk professionals in suits and pencil skirts rapping and thuggin out.. wtf is this chick and is she famous outside of the city? she's like lady gaga & queen latifah's adopted child. im getting too old to follow.

She's actually not that bad. She's on Wayne's label and has decent flow. I'm kind of upset as she was supposed to tour with Rihanna and Ke$ha this summer but dropped out a few weeks ago.

She's making a name for herself the last few months. Got the rub from Wayne and has been blowing up some guest spots. Her more animated inflections are annoying, but she's got a decent flow.

Real eye candy, though. And as the great Mos Def once said, "ass so fat you can see it from the front."

She can definitely spit her bars/metaphors are crazy. She's from queens too.... every fuckin girl 13-25 also now thinks there a barbie. Her first single was a flop she kills features though.

She's just the flavor of the week . Give it a few more months and she'll start winding down. Five heartbeats and counting.

On that note, I'm not a big fan of Young Money in general. I didn't mind Drake when he had more of a Little Brother type vibe, but now that he's under Wayne's wing, I just don't dig it anymore.

But then again, we all did see how Little Brother's career went, so maybe Drake just wised up...

While I think she might be the hot commodity this week, I don't think she has a sound like anyone else. I think that bodes well for her. I think being outside the norm of what everyone hears everyday is something that could give her career longevity. IMO.

To me she flows like Wayne, and it might just be my crew, but to us it sounds pretty clear that Wayne rights her shit for her too.

Minaj = Female Wayne?

However, considering the fact that Wayne somehow gets more fans even though I feel his music has gone downhill, you might be right about Nicki being around for a while.
