Where 2 cop RL Polo Custom Fit on sale? - Page 2

You can usually find the basic coloured custom fits for $35-40 at outlets. Usually a smaller selection than the classic fits, but I've definitely seen plenty there. Other than that the outlet stuff isn't usually too great. Clearance racks sometimes contain serious stuff from RRL, Polo made in Italy, black label, and purple label at ridiculously discounted prices. Lots of wonky sizes, so not reliable deals, but if you live near an outlet and are there fairly often you can probably snag some nice stuff.

Yeh, was gonna say, I find decent RL shirts (and other RL stuff) in the better vintage stores around town, and for around 15 bucks a pop for a shirt.

I know a lot of you have said that there isn't a noticeable difference in quality between the outlet stuff and the mainline, but my experience is that that the outlet polos are definitely not made to the same specifications. Specifically they are a much lighter weight, and the collars are much thinner, so it doesn't fold over as nicely.

I haven't noticed this at all, however I have noticed different colours seem to be slightly different weights... Do you think it could be that?

I'm suspicious of any outlet store except for the Levis store.

Late to the party here but I've been on the hunt myself, they fit me better than a lot of quote unquote slim fits. Polo outlets do have custom fits on sale for about $30 in the clearance racks, and Marshalls for $34.99 (less in clearance but selection is REALLY dicey in my neck of the woods). Problem at both places is, selection is narrow (4-5 choices of color/pattern in your size) but if you hit them once a week for a couple months, you'll end up with a nice selection in yo closet...if this shirt floats your boat.

Marshalls and TJ Maxx are usually my go-to for Polo related merch. Marshalls always has custom fit oxfords / polos for like $30.
