Money. Throw out old bills and take new ones out directly from the bank

most of these are really stupid.

socks. if you wear cheap wal-mart socks the stitching around the toes really gets uncomfortable. then there's the fact that they don't last for shit. i'm not saying go balls out for socks -- i buy mine for $2 a pair at Champs -- but don't buy a dozen pairs for $6 and expect comfort.

haircuts. having a shitty cut can kill your entire look. if there's one thing you should invest in, it's finding a decent stylist who can make your hair look presentable. you can pay $12 at supercuts for a shitty haircut, or pay $30ish at a better salon and get someone who knows what they're doing. it's worth it for me as a once-a-month expense.

Laptop batteries

car, leather jacket, fridge, stove, suit, life/car/homeowners insurance

That reminds me of one more thing to never, ever cheap out on: Toilet paper
