98% of fashion rags are such trash. they are designed to make you dependent on them to know what is in v. out so you must continue to buy buy buy their rag every month. they do not help you develop your own style. this has been said many times before but it is a peeve of mine so I will say it again. internet > fashion mags

was about to say the same thing; besides, that wash is not that bad

No, I actually like that wash. Looks good to me, especially in that cut. I do think the quality has dropped since around 2005 or so. The jeans back that had a very appealing heavy-duty feel, and felt built to last. They are increasingly using lighter weight denims, and the hardware isn't as impressive.

I don't think construction quality has declined in the least, besides the fact that not all models use hidden back pocket rivets anymore. And while very durable, I don't think the majority of their denim is as interesting as it once was. Their denims from four or five years ago were more complex in color, tone and texture. They were unique and downright unusual. While the jeans pictured aren't my taste at all, I don't think they're "bad" but they're just the same as everything else. R&B used to be where I went for something different, if I wanted "same" I'd just go get something off Gilt for half the price.

........

Depends on when they were made, strange as that sounds. Originally, the RB6 was a somewhat relaxed straight leg, and the RB11 was a fairly tight fit. However, as the line progressed, RB6 became much fuller fitting (the original full jean, the RB1, was dropped) and the RB11 took the place of the RB6 as the slightly loose straight leg. The RB6 was also on hiatus for about three years, but is back. Today, the RB6 is definitely their baggiest cut and from the pair I saw at Barney's, they look almost like a bootcut, but not sure.

My rb6 one wash selvedge from 06 was ridiculously nice, ended up being a bit too baggy for me so I sent them to a happy home through the classifieds.

I never have worn any of their jeans but I am huge fan of all of their knits and t shirts. I love how soft and comfortable they are. The quality of the shirts has definitely not gone down at all. If anything I have found that my newest rag & bone shirts that were just purchased from the store in nyc last week are even better made than some of the old stuff. When it comes to comfortable soft knits, I think Rag & Bone are the kings.

Those resin-sprayed one-washes were what they were BEST at. Raw denim look, broken-in softness and color that endured regardless of wear and tear.

I saw some decent looking raw R&Bs today at the Tannery.

Wanted to know if these RB15s are worth the price of $195?

And can someone comment on the fit, quality, and value compared to LVC 1947s?

They seemed to have just about every detail that the LVC 1947s have

Also, why are these RBs priced $100 higher than the RB15s linked above? Better loom?
