Is Dreamweaver good? How do I find a good web host?

Yes it's good and godaddy is a decent host. Our site has been hosted by godaddy for four years with about 20 minutes of downtime total. Very reliable.

Yup, and yup.

Consider a pre-built CMS as well depending on your needs. A GoDaddy account would come with a whole bunch you could consider, from WordPress through to Drupal and probably many others I know nothing about. They'll save you a lot of work as long as you don't mind a somewhat canned-looking site.

name.com for registering - cheaper, less BS than godaddy or other registrars, easier to get to the DNS functions/etc.

HostGator offers some very nice, affordable packages for hosting.
