"Why was my thread locked?!!" - Page 3

Why is this thread not getting locked http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=187765? . Several bumps without price drops and when other members try to tell him the rules, he gets snappy

Report it to the mod. That one deserves to be locked, and he needs to be put on timeout

^^ I reported it and there was no action, so I posted the question why is that particular thread not getting locked ?

It should be. That seller sounds like a freaking douche.

Hi, I had my thread locked(because I was dumb and didn't read and understand the rules) how long do I wait before I am allowed to repost it within the forum guidelines?

I had a thread for Clarks Desert Boots closed, and I thought I'd ask why.

Another poster asked me a question (about why I didn't just return them), I answered. There was no bumping (the question and answer were still in the top five or six threads on page 1) and I didn't reply to my original post or break any of the other rules that I see here. Maybe it was an irrelevant question on the poster's part, but I didn't see where responding would break the rules.

Just curious what I did wrong.

This. We don't have time to figure out all the rest out. It looks like a bump, we close the thread. Answer questions in your OP. Problem solved.

I'm interested in this as well.

I don't think there is a waiting time; just that when you create a new thread for the items of a closed thread, include a price drop from the lowest marked price in the closed thread.

That is fine, please just acknowledge the mistake, or PM La Guy or me and we will open your thread.

Did my Yohji pant thread get shut down? I said make me an offer on the julius shirt in the post so it seemed like a legit bump to me....

Can I remake it?

If you remake it, you owe me a 5% pricedrop. Pricedrops and addition of new offers are the only legit bumps at this time. Make me an offer is not a legit bump.
