Ok, so I'm trying to buy an item somebody is selling on the forum. First, I was able to successfully send the money to him as a gift. It was reversed a minute later and my account was locked because I live in China and it was automatically detected as a scam. After I re-verified my account and it was unlocked, I tried to send the money again- it says I need to withdraw money from my bank account first, can't send it. What the hell? I've never had to add money to my PP account, it should go straight to my bank account.

There are so many scams run out of China and India, I'm surprised this hadn't happened earlier. I think that the personal payment, probably in an irregular amount, probably tripped a bunch of red flags.
