Ouch, almost $55 on shipping 2 pairs of jeans, how long did it take you to receive them? Mine should be coming soon, as I think he shipped them last Tuesday. He estimates about 7-10 days to get it over to the US.

I'd be down if there was a bulk order, thinking about it regardless.

Does anybody know anyone flying from Australia to the US soon? Then you could just pack an extra suitcase or two and it would be pretty cheap. Even after adding domestic shipping charges and maybe even a small fee for your trouble it would have to be well under 35 a piece if we got a big order together.

here's my long-overdue experience with the Jin...

Loving the denim straight out of the box; has a real nice hairy texture (not really a rough hand, though) and is super crunchy. The denim is a real nice dark blue, though if I wasn't told before, I wouldn't have suspected it to be "natural" indigo.





Really neat details as well. I'm loving the donut buttons and pocketbags (though you can't see the fish design without turning the pants inside-out). Only gripe is the leather patch thickness, though that doesn't really bother me so much.

I like how it also comes with this neat set of instructions...
Somewhat troubling that they even suggested "creasing" the jeans with fingers!



Fit pics:
I sized down 2 (TTS = 30; jins are 28). This is after a couple of hours of wearing them around the house.
These really are a true "straight leg." Had to double-cuff as a result (no stacks to save me!) since I'm only 5'6"-5'7".
My honest opinion: you will enjoy these the most if your true waist falls somewhere around 32-34.

@Blackmaged - Thanks for the pics. Looks like sizing down 2 actually worked for you. Is the waist stretching out comfortably or is it a bit brutal? I like that the back pockets are not very low. They still look a touchy loose through the leg but nothing my tailor couldn't rectify for a few bucks.

These are great jeans, very slubby. Got them tapered to fit better.

Zack, The first hour or so was pretty tight, but that's expected since it is two sizes down. It felt comfortable after that, though. I haven't been able to wear it recently since I've been in Florida and I refuse to wear jeans in 90+ degree weather I agree that the knee-down could stand to be a bit skinnier (especially if your true waist is <32"), but I have a few tapered cuts already so the variety is refreshing. ==== *#.., I'm leaving them as-is. I had to suck in my gut a little as well - the denim is really stiff so I had to wrestle with it a little - but once they're buttoned up they stretch out just fine.

I got my aika gi black today in sz28. Awesome friggin' jeans, worth every penny. I'll show some fit pics later. Also this seller is awesome, he even refunded me some money because shipping was cheaper then thought! Buy these before thery sell out guys
