More like $79 + $15 Shipping I would. It is relative though so I guess the rationalizing would be easier if it were a single shipped price. That wouldn't help him as shipping costs vary depending on where they're going. I'm sure I'll order a pair eventually

The shipping is completely reasonable from where he's shipping from though. Right on the package it says he paid $34.90 to ship it here to canada, so it's not like he's taking advantage of us through shipping.

What about organizing a small group buy to save us both on shipping? We can get 10 pairs sent to one address in the US -- say for maybe $100 shipping, even a little bit more -- then have them re-shipped to individual buyers at a much cheaper rate. So... $100 split ten ways is $10, then another $6 for USPS Priority. That saves each buyer about $20 per pair.

That I would be up for although tricky/hassle for whoever ran it. I know he's charging actual cost and he's doing a great service as these seem to be top notch jeans at a great value. All I was saying is paying $35 shipping for a single pair of jeans is a bit much to swallow when that's half their cost. I emailed him a week or two ago about shipping 2 pairs(Jin & GI) as I was hoping it wouldn't be that much more, he said it was $55-$59 shipping for 2 pairs, so I'm not sure 10 pairs for $100 would be doable unless he got some kind of flat rate based on box size or something. Would be worth looking into, or if anyone else knows of some better Aus to US shipping methods...

just got my pair the other day and they are absolutely fantastic. quality of the fabric, stitching and hardware are easily as good, if not better, than pbj, momotaro or somet. jeans are super slubby, which i love. you guys can complain all you want about the shipping, meanwhile i just put in a second order for another pair of jins as well as one of the gis. a steal at this price.

Despite the badass pair of denim, shipping cost is just ridiculous: 1/2 the price of the denim itself!!! I say we order in bulk and some proxy in US ship to all of us

I've pmed him, and he generally responded back around 3-6am in west coast timing.

anyone tried to slim fits this denim? i usually wears 7,5 leg opening slim denim and if i buy it i would like to slim the leg. do you think is it possible to achieve a good result?

^Yeah, the other pair he sells is more slim fitting for $10 less. The jin probably costs more because it's 1 oz heavier. Here's the superfuture link for easy reference: http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk....php?p=2696353 I usually wear a 7.25-7.5" leg opening myself, and I'll see if I like the bigger leg opening. You can definitely get it tapered, people do it all the time.

Believe it or not, he's not joking about the shipping cost...
I got a package yesterday with two pairs - one Jin, one Gi - and looked at the shipping label... $54.59 (not quite but close enough).

Definitely worth it, though. Wore my Jins yesterday and they're super crunchy out of the box. The leg opening might take some getting used to as I prefer a 7-7.5, but a little variety is always healthy
