Seiko Spirit SCVS013 has been discontinued so you'd have to go second hand (excuse the pun)

The IWCs and Stowas are very nice, another option may be the Jungans Max Bill:

There is also a chrono version, the Chronoscope:

+1 on the Stowas suggested. (I'm thinking of getting an Antea or Marine myself.)

The Nomos Tangente is quite nice, but comes in around 3x the price of the Stowas.

3x the price, yes. But with some people consider a much nicer movement.

The Stowa marine is quite nice, but a 41mm face is somewhat large for my skinny wrists, and it doesn't tell the date.

Oh Seiko Japan, why did you discontinue the blue spark?

How big is your wrist? I have a 6-3/8" wrist.
