Really not sure when or why it happened, maybe sometime in the last 3 years I guess, but I just love Jaguars. The newest stuff and the cars prior to 1970.

I'm getting married may 2011 and already decided I want to drive away in a jaguar. I want something usable so probably going to get a Mark 2 Jag. Mark 9 is really nice and more appropriate but I want some thing we can enjoy together after our wedding.

Mark 9-a bit big I think for daily driving. LOL But still would be cool.

I would also love to have a jaguar D-type replica and a XJ13 replica sometime down the road. Between house wedding and getting another jag it's gonna be 5 years before I get one of these.

There's a guy near me with a powder blue Mark 2 in mostly original condition. I spoke to him once at the gas station... says he has had it since the late 60's.

How "vintage"? I've seen them range from the low teens to near $50k

I got to drive one of these when they first came out in '97. Unreal.

Well right now with the economy in the ******* it comes down to how desperate they are to sell. I've seen some really nice ones go for 30k. I'm not gonna buy til the winter. Prices will be even lower. I would love to find someone desperate to sell a real gem for around 25k.

Turboman, don't forget the S-type - slightly cheaper, much better to drive.
