Same time period, same 6.0L, the electric Recaros (these came on RUFs and other cars of the era as well).. so it was well over $300K in Japan when new, possibly a lot more, considering the E-class to SL-class jump up. Seems odd the R107 is that much more expensive than a real Hammer, though.... Garage Current has some pretty sexy rides. This thing is awesome: 





I'd say that is pretty timeless, they could put it out today with minor detail changes and it'd look contemporary... This Jag too... while not necessarily timeless, pretty fucking cool, cooler than an XJ220 even?
