Same time period, same 6.0L, the electric Recaros (these came on RUFs and other cars of the era as well).. so it was well over $300K in Japan when new, possibly a lot more, considering the E-class to SL-class jump up. Seems odd the R107 is that much more expensive than a real Hammer, though.... Garage Current has some pretty sexy rides. This thing is awesome:

back to timeless car discussion, and to Jags again (hi Huntsman)... how is this: I'd say that is pretty timeless, they could put it out today with minor detail changes and it'd look contemporary... This Jag too... while not necessarily timeless, pretty fucking cool, cooler than an XJ220 even?

Don't know about all that. I just know it's pure car porn. I'm a few years away but I would like to get an XJ13 or a D-type. Replica of course since you cannot get an origianl XJ13 and a D-type will set ya back 4 mill.


I'm planning to put my solstice gxp into storage for awhile and pickup a classic XJ6 for my daily driver. See how well that goes. LOL
