Great pics. The Albert Small Library at UVA is also very nice from a modern design standpoint.

The picture of the Sterling library at Yale does not do the building justice.

Additionally, the Yale Law Library should not be overlooked.

My favourite is still the Suzzallo- May be because I love cathedral architecture and that's what it reminds me of, though. Vancouver's Central Library is pretty impressive too-

Papal library of Julius II set a pretty high standard Wish I could find out what the bookshelves looked like, though. Royal Library of the Monastery of El Escorial Nová Říše Monastic Library (love the alphabet inlaid into the bookshelves!)

The Library of the Benedictine Monastery of Admont is unbelievable.
