That's correct, but "senior" does not imply knowledge. And then again, Stony32 illustrates how non-senior members can be super-experts:

This is truth. The evolution of some posters has been fun to watch.

You catch on quickly Stony.

It is based upon providing sexual favors to a select group of senior members, by women who want the best for you (friends, wives, gf, relatives). You will receive private messages from these senior members describing their exact requirements. Because the members of this forum are all stellar members of society, you may rest assured that you will not receive requests from members unauthorized to send these requests. After a while, provided that you fulfill your obligations, you will be elevated to senior member. There are those who will tell you it is based on the number of posts, but this is not true, it is merely that over time, the number of posts will increase with the number favors provided.

We know this may seem like asking a lot, but only by going through this process will you become a senior member, and be able to PM your specific requests to new junior members.

Best of luck, our hearts are with you.

No, not sure I ever suggested it did; in fact I personally "” frequently "” illustrate that it doesn't.

Girlfriends and wives? How about sons and husbands for some of our most distinguished Sfers?

No name mentioned but there are a few on our beloved forum...

Frustrating sometimes, too. There are posters here who obviously have tons of knowledge they could share, but I find myself just skipping over their posts because I know it will be time wasted on a self-indulgent wisecrack instead of something substantive.

You're 9,977 posts ahead of schedule.

Styleforum is a great place to come to learn about brands and quality and options, but it isn't a place to come about actual style. Use the forum for what you can, for some people it's posting in threads about all the new stuff they bought on credit, for others, it's reading about what others bought, learning about these items and investigating based on their own taste.

What happens when an SF'er becomes a "swollen member"?

That's to say, when they reach 30,000 posts?

Are they silently put to sleep without protest, like some kind of internet Logan's Run?

Can we get Jenny Agutter involved?

Actually, to become a Senior Member you must send (member) Hossoso a PM requesting that he make you a Senior Member. He controls that, and no one else. And if he asks you to go to hell or something similar, he's just playing coy. Keep at him and you will be rewarded.

Apologies; didn't mean to imply that you did. If anything, it was more directed at my own "senior member" status.

Agree - naked picture of a beautiful woman also helps....they did ask me to take it down, until I told them it was my one of my ex's.....
