Colby is this project still live?
I emailed Colby a while ago and this was part of the response I got back on August 10th:
"I have not received my new oxford fabrics or my fall flannels just yet. I hope to have them within the next few weeks. ... The search is still ongoing for nice poplin plaid and striped shirting that will work for a dress/casual look."
Hopefully we will hear something about those new fabrics soon.

Hi guys, I've recently received a shipment of two shirts from Colby. They are perfect. We started by using the pattern of a sample shirt which fits me perfectly, and he just copied it exactly. Fortunately his make retails for much less than the forum affiliate's shirt. It's not exactly the same quality, but at the price point there is simply nothing in the North American market that can beat Colby's shirts. Props.

Hey everyone. Sorry I have not been on here in a very long time. I have been busy with my full time job and with traveling. I have not been home very much in the last few months. There will be some new items to post this weekend though. The new shirt fabrics will be here this week or early next week due to the holiday. I do have the swatches to post so you guys can at least see the fabric that will be available. There will be a few sample items up for sale as well. There will be a variety of sizes and fabrics. I do have some new underwear to post. It is a tie dyed bamboo in olive drab. They will sell for $15 per pair. The quantities are very limited on this style but if they sell well I will try to find more interesting prints. If you have any questions please email me at cbackous@live.com. Thanks, Colby.

The new fall fabrics are great. I found a nice flannel in gray, sage and purple on off-white. There is also a crisp poplin in shades of gray with black and white. The last fabric is a linen and cotton blend in purple, black and tan. I can't do any pre-orders on these without a deposit. The samples will be up as soon as possible. They will sell for $49 for special order sizing or $39 for stock sizing. I will be making a few more trips to the east coast and one more trip to the west coast so I will hopefully find a few more shirting fabrics soon. I am desperately searching for oxford and more formal fabrics that will work in a business casual setting. I will keep everyone posted. Thanks for your patience, Colby. Here are the swatches.

Thanks so much for your compliments. I have cut out the middle man so I can pass on the savings to you guys. All of the pattern work I do myself and the sewing is done by myself and 2 other sewers. I am glad you guys like everthing so far. I definetly appreciate your business. Thanks again, Colby.

The project is still alive. Things got really crazy for awhile and I had to realize I could not do everything on my own. I have 2 more sewers now so we should see some more steady progress soon. Thanks for your interest. I appreciate it, Colby.

Sorry for the delay. The swatches I recieved were not quite what I wanted so I had to search out some new suppliers. I have found some new fabric choices so I should have samples very soon. Finding a good thread count poplin for more business casual shirts has proven to be more difficult than I had anticipated but I am still looking. Thanks, Colby.

I wanted to update everyone on the tie dyed boxer brief supply. The small and large sizes have already sold out! Thanks Guys! There are about half a dozen mediums left. I have put in an order for another color, which is a brighter green. It is a tie dyed stripe rather than a pinwheel pattern. I will post them as soon as they are ready. Thanks again guys.
