I'm very curious how other SF'ers would rank here. http://www.addicted.com/addiction-re...addiction-quiz

Lol I answered like 1 out of 15 "yes" and I got "some concern". Poorly designed.

moderate. shopping gives me a high- especially grabbing that item first on gilt, over bidding someone on ebay, or pre-selling that item first during a sale. i guess the item feels like a prize.

No concern, did not answer "yes" to any question.

Bad questions though, IMO. I mean, probably half of them presumptively assume you have a problem, i.e.:

Do you feel "high" when you go on a buying binge?

The rest of us are simply in denial.

As for feeling high when shopping, that would depend on how drunk I am at the time, though usually it just means I'll spend longer talking bull to the shop staff, particularly if she's a good-looking girl; unlike Conne and West24, however, I have been known to succeed in this endeavour...and then write gloating posts on SF about it.

This is a wasted marketing opportunity, IMO. A smarter site would try to sell the shopping addicts some addiction recovery books at the end. After all, they can't say no!
