Product to keep sides of hair down

I'm Asian and I have a fairly square/roundish face. I part my hair from the right side of my head to the left side. The hair on the sides of my head grow really thickly, so it makes my face look rounder than it really is. and I was wondering if there was a product out there that can slick down the sides of my head so that my head doesn't appear so round? Preferably something not too conspicuous so that people notice.

Do you have your barber/stylist use thinning shears there? I have a similar problem, so I ask them to use the thinning shears to take some of the thickness out and make my hair stay down better.

Get some wax and stop being so jew with the haircuts. /thread.

Ask your new stylist to thin it out if it's thick. I say new because your current one sucks if that is the end result and you need to find someone else.

Not that difficult

Use Garnier super hold mousse. I'm not sure if "super hold" is the max hold, but go with the one that is the max. It's a green can.

Another solution is to go to bed with a woman's hose or a hair net. I used to go to bed with a gilligan's cap that was thin and comfortable. It mats your hair at night. When you wake up you can do some spray and comb and your hair will be down all day.
