You may be better off with ebay at this point, Moo. Sometimes it's not about the price, it's just lack of exposure. If the right buyer doesn't see your item, it wouldn't matter how good of a deal it is.
I follow the rules here to a "t" with regards to selling, etc. (great service, happy to pay the $7 to bump more often, etc.) but I never quite understood the whole "don't advertise your own thing in the eBay/kop thread". We all advertise our sales in our signatures in every single post that we make, in every thread of the forum. We post cool shit for sale here. I know there is a separate "what I'm selling on eBay" thread, but I just don't see how posting your own item here, in this thread, is so terrible. That being said, I don't do it because I don't want the banhammer (and alluding to an item I have for sale isn't really posting it here, is it? )
It's terrible because then the thread will be filled with a bunch of stupid listings that we see literally everywhere because of signatures. This thread should be for stuff people think is awesome, cheap for what it is, rare, any combination, etc, not stuff that you think is awesome that you're selling because inevitably everything you're trying to sell will end up here.
It's cool if some other member was like "Man, Moo has such a great deal on the cameraman and I love mine, so someone jump on it!". That's acceptable, what we don't need this to turn into is an advertisement thread for the hundreds of sellers where they're like "I have such a great deal on these Varvatos boots/Fuel Star tee/Ervell pocket sweater" etc.
