Haha, honestly if I could justify it I'd keep both hoodcoats and then buy the Schneider Berber coat too; I love hooded coats. I like the fit of the gray Bless more, but I already have a lot of light gray tones for my outerwear, so feel like it's kind of redundant. Probably just need to throw on the black one more and embrace it; but we'll see.

The Bless coat is a reinterpretation of the traditional loden coat (no hood) which has the characteristic pleated back thing going on. Obviously the cut is not the same, it think it can look great sized properly though. Color is loden green naturally (as is the Bless hoodcoat this season).

toasty I can't recommend my Wings + Horns mac enough.  Super versatile and it's hoodless.

Oh yeah, and prefer wool coats now more than anything. I am very prone to get shocked after wearing nylon.. fml

Bless hoodcoat is slightly effeminate, especially the drape and the button/fabric gathering at the back, but it's really not hard to wear given that you're like 5'8" and above, and sized right. It's pretty versatile style-wise too. Just don't wear sneakers with it unless you REALLY know what you're doing lol

I would perhaps prefer the hood to be removable, but then I guess it'd lose some of its charm.

Sev, don't sell your wool one! Just think it over more, build your wardrobe and see what you come up with. You've only had it for a week or two, and those things hold value so its not like its pressing to sell it now
