I thought the rule of thumb was GAT -1 = side zip. Reedo, I think you'd probably be a 43 in those boots. I'm 9.5 in sneakers, 9 in clark DBs, 43 in GATS and 42 in side zips. Fulfill the dream !

There's two models of side zips I believe, not sure how sizing differs. I think I'm about to list mine though because I've decided they're just too big.

they look like the classic margiela boot with the thin sole. ime they are consistent with gat sizing.



size down one from your gat size in the version with the thicker sole with ridges on top.



there are other versions but these two i think are the most common.

i think its really hard to make generalizations about mmm side zips but I would go with GAT size
and if its too big put in some superfeetz

I have the second and don't think I could've sized down from gat size.

To add to all the confusion, just PM'd the guy and the outsole measures to 12.4", and he normally wears 11 in Nikes and 43 in CP, so definitely a size up from myself.

I wear 43 in GATs, pretty much all my shoes measure to 12", PM'd the guy at Aloha for the outsoles on their black side zips (with the heftier sole which I like better) and the 42 has a 12" outsole. I'm guessing I'm a 42 or 42.5 with thick socks...

I have the thin sole side zips and took -1 from my GATs. But my gats are maybe 0.5 size too big so I guess it works out. Side zips feel perfect.
