I have these exact boots in a US 11/EU 44, and I'm a "true" US 12 (although I like my shoes a little on the snugger side).

Anyone who's a true US 12.5 or 14, wears CPs in size 45, &c. should get on these.

edit: Not the best fit pic, but it gives you an idea of what the burnished leather looks like IRL. They give off a bit of a sheen, but they're still pretty versatile.
