Well, unless you're jacked (and from what I've seen from your pictures, you are not, it's overweight for the height, but it's certainly not obese. Like me (5'11", 175 lbs,) you could probably stand to lay off some of that midnight ice cream. I'm assuming that you work out regularly. I'm 35 though, and I stayed at around 10% body fat until our third child about a year ago. Decreasing metabolism and shorter workouts will catch up with you. Heightwise, Moo's definitely taller than average - 5'9". Yeah, 5'9" and a size 36" pant (so, probably closer to a 38" waistline, seeing that most common brands are vanity sized) is the American average.

Yup. Not jacked - used to powerlift, which caused some weight gain that took a while to take off. I do work out regularly... jumping on the P90X bandwagon as soon as our remodel is finished to switch things up. Weight loss is no joke for those who need to take on the challenge. The 130 lb primadonnas seem to think otherwise.

Weightloss is pretty easy if you can stick to a diet. Exercise is only like 10% of weightloss.

PS would kop those astro's if they were a 45

Lol, diets carry a bad connotation. If you bang out the numbers you'll find you can pretty much eat whatever you want and still be in "diet" mode. In most cases you'll get totally full and sick from cake or something before you disrupt any real, steady, long/mid-term weight loss you're working on.. Even trying deliberately to rack up as many cals you can in a day doesnt really affect a week's weight loss, much less two week's, etc.. Sorry for the health and body carry over.

Just dieting doesn't really work for everyone. I only eat about 1400 calories a day and very little in the way of carbs and I can't seem to lose any weight. I even play comptetitive tennis twice a week and I have been stuck at 158 pounds for 4 months now. I just want to get down to 150 but can't seem to get there.

How tall are you? 158 lbs is pretty small already. My lowest was 152 lbs, and I should probably have been heavier (I'm 5'11".)

Dieting and exercise only go so far, either losing weight or gaining muscle. There are also genetics and age at work. After that, you need supplements, a *very* restrictive diet, etc... I competed in a combat sport, which have weight categories, and having been there, done that (dieting, cutting weight, etc...) I have no desire to do that again. It's a huge PITA.

Nudie Jeans

Use the code 1VUKFM if you can't read, and a $160 pair of nudies (on clearance) become a $99 pair with FREE shipping.

I ordered 2 pairs for $198. Great deal.

I'm only 5'6. I think it's the age factor. I am 32 now. So I think my metabolism has slowed down.
