You only ever touch filet so I'll excuse your not understanding concept of marbling. But an idiot like you surely can tell whether something is frozen. Dumb AND blind isnt a way to go through life bro

filet mignon is typically finer grained and less marbled. thats why many prefer it - "its leaner"

pay for your 40$ filet bro, it'll make you feel better on the internet

id hazard a guess that that steak came from a grain fed cow. not really what the OPs point is all about.

this is a thread about healthy paleo type eating and people are arguing over how good the fattiest cut from a selectively bred grain fed beast is

Worst threak on SF at the moment. I'm gonna hide for a while, have a few drinks, and hope it all goes away.

Sounds like a question you should be asking yourself. I think you should PM the guy above, sounds like you could help each other out.

How does being offensive on the internet improve your life?

Looks like healthy eating does nothing for a shitty attitude.

It provides me entertainment. This thread was quite civil until a few members decided to express their tiny penis syndrome by specifying that the type of meat I consume is only for women, never eaten by chefs (bullshit), and that they eat much larger pieces of meat (whooptie-fuckin-doo.)

And professional marathon runners are hardly concerned with a lean physic, as they are already emaciated.
Enough said.

absolutely, you could tell by the color of the fat, and of course the price wouldnt support free range grass feeding.

eschewing the ethics of feeding ruminants grain, keeping on taste, the barbecuing circle by large favors grain fed for its higher fat content. you'll find in a lot of blind taste survey show preference for grain fed meats. ive had the grass stuff in tuscany, bsas, etc... source of cows diet is 2ndary to the cut and preperation as far as im concerned

Agree here. Prefer the taste of grain fed beef.
