tumblr seems to be more of a microblogging platform.
I've used Blogspot; it's okay.

if it is a porn blog I recommend tumblr. see tumblr mosaic.

blogspot has that muff guessing and filth guessing thang down pat. But tumblr got that ultra ass and tittey collage thing worked out. It deppeneds really, are you doing some ultra titty blog or a "will she fuck that midget" blog? If its some personal blog where you talk abot your mundane life in great detail and post some shitty poetry then it doesnt matter.

I recommend hosting your blog on your own domain. It's pretty easy to upload wordpress on any domain.

I maintain mine on Wordpress. I used Blogspot, but it seems a bit passe these days. Tumblr seems better designed for photo-heavy blogs.
