Red Dead Redemption - Page 2

At first I thought it was going to be a Call of Juarez type game which I didn't fancy, but this looks pretty good. Might be a reason to pick up my PS3 controller which hasn't really happened since MGS4...

It's very much like GTA4, but better in just about every respect.

After Mass Effect 2, I just wish things were more interactive. I wish townsfolk had something interesting to say, or you had reason to look into some random building, if it wasn't otherwise on your radar, mapped as something significant.

Still, the game is great fun, and I have been playing it non stop. I just got to Mexico.

The horse I have is still from the Bonnie(sp?) mission where I caught a wild horse. Is it's speed "fast?" Do I have any reason to upgrade?

I just got the game yesterday and only managed to play an hour or two, all I pretty much did is run around with the horse and kill and skin any animal I ran into. I thought I would get tired of it but it was just too much fun. I'd probably have an hour or two to spare tonight and chances are I'd do the exact same thing.

that's the kentucky saddler, it's among three of the best horses you can buy in the game. the other two are the american standardbred and the hungarian half-bred, they're all available in different areas of the game. you get an achievement for breaking all three.

the war horse from best buy is pretty badass though.
