also, if you ever got a min i have some ToJ ideas to bounce off of you.

OH and the hanging chain on my bomber came off last night, no idea how(blind drunk from noon onwards)

talk to me on the book of faces, evan. I have a hard time keeping up with the constant little splooges of communication here and there and everywhere, but I can be found on the book.

Did he mention the whack ass sizing on his listing?
I don't know where he's selling or what their policies are, but I don't think you should be accountable if not.
If it was ebay, don't they have the option for him to offer it to the next lowest bidder?
And if it was BIN then I don't see how giving you a refund could be any hassle...
But it was probably yahoo, huh.

Copped Raf Asics a couple nights ago. I don't have the space or budget for an RFX-style shoe collection but I got these on sale recently, and I have no idae where I will keep them because I have maxed my shoe closet already with official baller sneakers from before. -the Raf Asics -Giuliano Fujiwara mids in black leather/black suede/white CP sole -MMM GAT's in white patent or non-patent, I'm not sure which I got -CP vans in white/blue -CP Achilles high in white -MMM scrunchy boot peeptoes for my girl -Jil Sander high espadrilles for girl I need some dress shoes now. Only been wearing my Jil X Church's and would like a more trad pair of brown shoes.

When in doubt, just stuff them under the bed. That's what I used to do. I'm more organized now though, I got a rolling shoe rack for under the bed storing.

Don't ever get bedbugs, btw. They love to live in shoes under the bed.

my bed is a mattress on the floor (loft with 4.5' ceiling, not a trainspotting concept)... I am jsut gonna toss some Chucks and old shoes I don't wear. It'll all be baller ass shoes then, nothing but the best.

If you like the handiwork on the Church's, and want something classic, you could do worse than these: http://www.yoox.com/item.asp?sec=1&YOOX=CHURCH'S&dept=previewmen&tskay=3FD17CD7&rr=1&cod10=44244115QJ&sts=sr_previewmen80

Not my size... also, lookin for a sleek last like a C+J 348 I think. Just a little change of pace. I am kicking myself though, because I passed up Church's at $175/pair in a ton of styles at the Prada outlet in Hong Kong a few years ago. Then again, I also passed on $100 bottles of Dom Perignon 1992 when I was a college student. Need more foresight.

Santoni and Sutor Mantellassi make sleek dress shoes and boots.

If you like C&J, also keep an eye on the Brooks Brothers sale for Peal & Co branded shoes. The ones on 324 and 337 are sleek but not quite as elongated as the 348.

Vass U last!! You know you want to suggest them. I might acquire a pair of suede zip boots, too bad they don't make those... I also like Weston, Carmina, Corthay, not big on english shoes.

Did you ask?

Sure Vass U is >>> C&J but the $$$ are also >>> and the process is a bit longer and involved.

I don't really need dress shoes though - I'd get more enjoyment out of a bottle of Dom Perignon right now than a dress shoe, which I wear about once a year now. I'm moving to Europe in 3 months so I am gonna probably buy into some bespoke shoes, or maybe some Vass. I might even learn how to make shoes properly, an idea which I have been toying with.
