Are you supposed to vibram Hender Schemes?

I certainly would, but it depends on the weather where you live I suppose

Putting on a ripple sole also looks awesome

well maybe it is the gold lock and the key holder :P

got a pair during the last barneys sale in black(for 390 ish?). would definitely buy them again in this colour. plus you can just take off the locks if they seem to flashy its what i do at work.

These took about 20min total to put on and take off. Still undecided on whether to keep as they just seem a tad underwhelming in person, but the color is nice and can go with a lot of things. Was hard picking between the 01s, 06s, and New Balance lows.

Surprised they haven't made the Jordan 1 silhouette by now.

henders are so exp but i know heaps of work is put into each shoe

why did it take 20 minutes to put on and take off?

how uncomfortable are they?

The upper's really stiff and the leather laces take a long time to adjust, I was basically trying to jam my foot in up to the point of breaking something. Once on, they're not uncomfortable.

For vibram topys, does it matter if I walk around on the leather soles for a bit before getting them topy'd? Don't feel like I need them until winter, not gonna do any physical activity in these.

If you're eventually gonna get it anyway, you might as well get it right away.

If I recall correctly I think they sand it slightly to make the glue adhere better, so I assume that the smoother and less damaged the leather the less they have to sand it.

That said, it's not an issue putting on at a later stage as well, it might just have worn down a bit already by that point.

there's a small split in the welt (i think that's what it's called?) of my right chelsea boot

there's an even smaller one on the left boot, too, in the same area

is this something i should pay any attention to at all? like, it's not gonna get worse over time, is it? that the splits are in the same area on both boots makes me think that it just comes with the manufacturing process, but i don't know, i'm worried that it might get bigger if it's not supposed to be there

on another note, the "tan" suede (color code: 1302) looks a lot different in person than in its product shots (not a complaint, just an observation)

it's more of a taupe color than tan, though i haven't seen it in sunlight yet so i guess i'll check again tomorrow

as for the derbies, there's a warp along the ankle of the left shoe

it's a lot more pronounced and noticeable in person than in the pictures, but is this unusual at all or something worth fretting over?

i definitely have the propensity for being nitpicky, so these are probably non-issues, but idk

I got the same ones and I've only worn them about twice. Loosen up the laces and use a shoe horn initially haha. After a while they are much easier to get on. As far as the looks, I personally think they look better with the white laces and waayy better when aged a bit with the white laces.

I have my fair share of baller sneakers, and if the second pic underwhelms you I'm not really sure what to say haha. Having said that, if you wear them all tight like they are straight out of the box then you're doing it wrong.
