Don't add anything just start wearing them. They all look too clean.

the topic of shoe trees has not been brought up in this thread in a year... so I thought I would recanvas the crowd. What do people think of shoe trees in sneakers?

I sweat easy so I use them to absorb the moisture. I also use it in conjunction with shoe decreasers for some of my sneakers to reduce creasing because I'm anal like that.

Hm. I havent heard of shoe decreasers before. just googled them. do you use the "sneaker shields" brand? I just stuff the paper inserts in tightly and make sure the tongue is straight and I get the same effect, but this would be simpler.

I used shoe trees in a pair of Umit Benan leather sneakers and found it stretched them out, which is undesirable for sneakers. Been cautious to experiment again.

Buy them. It is worth it.

I use the one called Forcefields. You can try them out at Finish Line. They'll make your toes feel quite cramped if the toe box is tight to begin with though. You can try them out at Finish Line before you buy...that's where I got mine. :)

I never peeled the adhesive sticker^ off so I can use it on multiple shoes. Just remember they take up Maybe you could get a size smaller for your shoes? Are you trying to absorb moisture or reduce creasing?

I guess I'm the exception because I just wear my sneakers (even the "luxe" ones) and don't worry about it. I don't abuse them, but don't baby them either. When they wear out, I'll replace them with another pair or something new.

That's how you should wear shoes (and everything else). There's no point spending money on something if you don't wear it and if you obsess over what happens from normal wear and tear then it also defeats the purpose.

Not sure if this has been discussed in here before but I just walked past these in the mall window and thought it was kinda weird. Looks like Johnston & Murphy is using the Lanvin sole. They're not baller though

facepalm.gif ugh… yeah it's very similar… the bottom is different. POS either way.

not just the sole, they completely ripped off the design to a t....except the stupid hook clasp around the laces.
