10.5 and 1-1.5mm suede leather layed down on the inner sole will help a lot.
I have a slim foot 10 US exact and was swimming in these to start with

sorry no I was referring to the above comment. The "old" sole (like 2008-ish and earlier) was just like the CP sole and they ran a little larger so my UK9 was a little bit big so I just used an insole. The pair you linked in your post are the "new" sole... and UK9 fit me perfectly as it seems they are just a tad smaller... maybe we're talking 1/4 of a size but enough to make them feel just right for me.

I can't speak for the conversions on the inside of the shoe... my sizes are Lanvin UK9, MMM EU43, Converse 9 and Jack Purcell 10, Common Projects EU43.... I know it can be tough when figuring out what to order.... hope that helps.

I really like the conservative styling of the SLP sneaks, but I'm not sure of the quality (that sizing matrix is the only reference I have when it comes to SLP stuff). You seem like the authority around here; know anything about the build/comfort/etc?

ok well, common projects winter achilles i tried 43, its a bit too big for me, so 42 is perfect while MM EU43 fits me very well.

i have wide feet, when i stand it widens a bit. if anything so UK8 or 9? farfetch orders comes from different places. so it will be really annoying if i got the wrong size.

I bought a pair of black slp lows and returned them. They were exceptionally uncomfortable - I'm talking foot pain the following day (and yes, they were the right size). Quality seemed ok, but not overly impressive. I'd say that Lanvin (even made in Portugal) is probably better quality.

I replaced the insoles with Superfeet on my pair so they're comfortable for me. :)

What about them did you find uncomfortable? The right shoe of my black highs doesn't bend properly and cuts into my foot, so annoying. shog[1].gif

Got my petrol gats from tres bien. Color spot on but leather quality is a joke. Still on a hunt for a sneaker with quality leather don't think it exists

That's too bad. The quality on my SS10 pair is pretty good. Not sure if it's the type of leather used--lamb/split calf--or quality has just gone downhill.

Truth. I've worn mine regularly since the Roden Gray fire sale and they're holding up great. Good luck finding a pair though.

Try these (http://shop.havenshop.ca/collections/hender-scheme), and use some of this (http://angelusshoepolish.com/collections/leather-dye). Make sure the leather is clean before applying. If you use saddle soap, be sure to condition the leather after the dye is good to go.

Also note that the dye claims to be for smooth leather only, so this may not be optimal for the GATs. They also have a suede dye.
