Agreed. But I have a soft spot for sneakers most here would consider outlandish, such as Air Force Ones and Superstars. To me, they have more character than most of the plain shoes shown here.

I used to have those red Pumas years ago. They are not actually that nice. The toe box is shaped weirdly and falls in on itself after a few wears. I would not reccomend them.

I'm not a fan of high top sneakers, they seem a bit too juvenile for me, or maybe because I'm of a slim stature. Anyway, I do like sleek low tops and a particular pair of Lanvin in grey wool is calling my name. This is something I really need in my wardrobe so I shall keep an eye out. The painted MMM is no longer a contender since after careful inspection, it resembles addidas sambas too much.

They're both straight jacks from German army trainers, so that's to be expected.

RFX you have a ridiculous shoe wardrobe. It is massive.

My high end sneaker game is non existent. I haven't yet been able to justify dropping $300-500 on the pairs I want and my size (13/46 or so in sneakers usually) never makes it to sales.

I'd say I have a few pairs, not massive.

When it comes to shoes though, especially sneakers, there will be a lot of love and hate in this forum. I'll try and post them little by little but I certainly got my flame suit on.
