are all velcros like this, or just lows? Is it right to say that that you should take the same size in raf velcros as you do in MMM?

Eh, and every year some pair of sneakers still gets some people wet.

Rick Owens Geobaskets still flies off the shelf once it goes on sale, even at $700+.

Most still love GATs and Icarus and Cotes and Achilles, etc....

Not all designers are going to knock em out of the park every season but most still have the classics that keeps people buying.

Ricks have been flying off the shelves for $1.2k forever. i'm not saying people aren't buying sneakers or feeding into the hype machine, I just think most of the designers are beating a dead horse. I like most of the staples that you mentioned like cotes and achilles, especially SLP but designers keep trying to reinvent the wheel every season rather than just leave a few basic staple essentials alone (I really wish SLP would just continue producing the black and white leather low and highs). Of course, people are buying now more than ever. But that doesn't necessarily mean they have good taste. People are buying, Prices are going up higher than ever (GAT's are like $600 retail now and Lanvin only produces sneakers in Portugal now?), The quality is deteriorating and the novelty is wearing off.

Pretty much keep my eye on boots besides a pair of achilles here and there to keep the sneaker flame burning.

So I have a pair of blue MMM midtops lying around that I haven't worn yet because they're navy, and I'm having problems matching them with anything I wear other than grey jeans... am I just overthinking this, and navy sneakers and navy jeans is fine? Navy sneakers with black jeans? Ugh...
