^ I like 'em too!

also a question... do Lanvins with the old CP-style sole from around 2008 NOT have the Lanvin-ringed eyelet on the first hole? Just wondering... Thx!

The pleated sneaks aren't the same sneaker as the Balenciaga high tops Synth has.
My point was the two pleated sneakers I showed are BOTH fairly identical with pleats and all.
The only minor difference was the way they pleated them.
Both the red and white ones I showed are still called Cotes, where as other Balenciaga highs go by difference names but still have the same high top base.

Got to disagree. Different materials doesn't make it a different shoe. It'll be like the Air Jordan IV or Air Force I's getting exotic materials/leathers, it'll still be Air Jordan IV's and Air Force Is.

The Cotes are still Cotes, they just use different materials, whether it's sting ray or pleated leather, the shoe is the same.

And I got what you were saying with the difference in pleates but like I said, it seems like it is just one of those things to change it up every season. Like Lanvin with their signature lowtops, they change up the materials/leathers but still the same shoe every season.

Guess what I meant was the name and details were different. Overall they are still the same base shoes, just different deets.

But yea, just something I noticed. Still love my black pair regardless of the type of pleats they have lol8[1].gif

Oh yeah not disagreeing that there was a difference, I think we are pretty much agreeing that there was just changes every season to the same shoe.

Nice!

Also, Givenchys reminds me more of DBSS than BKs.

I would rather get these instead of the Givenchy:
