***Finally an Official Baller sneaker thread ($300 minimum)*** - Page 1204

I don't know if people are into them, the majority of the ones that I see in person and online are either too plain, or the design on the upper is so strange that I wouldn't consider it. I'm a fan of the majority of the low captoe sneakers, but they aren't a shoe I'd pay $500+ for. Those gray highs from last season (?) looked great though, so I didn't think twice about grabbing a pair. There are undoubtedly better sneakers out there for the same/lower price, but I like the Lanvins I have and wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair that I actually liked.

The recent Lanvins have been very disappointing so a lot of people have been turned off but the low tops (suede upper/patent toe) are pretty classic and I could see myself wearing a pair forever. I think everyone is just waiting for Lanvin to bring back some of the classic hi-tops even if it does come with the modern sole, I know I am.

where do i find these?

TBH I don't mind the high tops on the two-tone sole, like so:

It's only on the lows and mids that it looks bad to me, looks unbalanced.

Also re: Lanvins - ever since they switched soles they've gone a bit crazy with the patterns/colors/materials. There's been maybe 5-6 styles that look good since the switch (not including the nonseasonal ones they always have).

These midtops are on sale for 40% off—thoughts? I quite like them!

Those black Balenciagas are pretty ace.

Honestly, just buy the ones you find appealing. If it's the white mids, it's the white mids. No can tell you what color you prefer, what shape you prefer. Outsourcing that decision would be a mistake, in my opinion.
