I like the new toebox on the KVAs - also is the ankle area less narrow in the newer iterations or is that just due to differences in pictures/lacing?

Honestly my favorite sneaker just from a design perspective, I'm not sure I'd be able to personally rock them that well though.

I love my white pair, they are pretty big on the feet though

Christian Peau 2012

autograph carries them and while I disliked his designs over the last seasons, these look really nice.

This thread is just a constant cycle of shit shoes until someone asks why Margiela won't just release the OG Hightop and then the cycle restarts.

Silent sneakers are nice and can be worn w/o the buckles. Don't sleep on it.

They're not cp sole they are the Portugal sole. Same as last season raf and oc. They're fine as beaters but I wouldn't get em unless at deep discount. Leather is a bit flimsy as well. Fits tts but a bit snug if you're a half size.

Have you handled them? From pics they do not look too flimsy to me, definitely look more substantial than YSL Rollins. They'e also been on sale almost everywhere (Ssense, LN-CC, etc...).

yeah i ordered from oki-ni in my usual size (i'm a 10.5-11, thought they were cp sole so i ordered a 43) and they were wearable but just slightly narrow and snug at the toe box in a 43. Made in portugal and identical to the Raf's I got over the summer in size. i'd say leather wise its better than pierre hardy and slightly better or comparable to common projects, but i don't find those to be all that great. I definitely prefer YSL as i feel those are comparable to balenciaga, a hair below quality of lanvin.

Again, they're fine and i think they're a much better and nicer alternative to chucks. I did get a couple of comments on them, people liked the way the leather looked, but the insole and inside of the shoe just felt pretty lackluster. I just don't like the way the leather creases and cracks almost instantly. The buckle is annoying too, but removable through the slit.

Argggh. Would've copped had I known you could strip the buckles :(

You're probably talking about YSL Malibu because the Rollins has the worst quality of all the "baller" sneakers I have. Lost of peoples Rollins were ripping by the seams too after less than a handful of wears.

You're right. I'm talking about Malibu with the patent panels and puffed out high top like the silents.
