I wish common projects would bring back this style of the achilles high top. So cool.

 

I'd say $400 is a good price point.  When I got mine I bought one pair at like $410 and then the price dropped again and their was one size left (mine) at $280 but I really lucked out and I think people were put off by the gold sole (which is kind of cool looking now that I've worn the hell out of them, most of the gold is gone).

 

I've seen them often at $500 and a couple times lower.

Yeah I agree, actually wish a little more of the gold had stayed.

Have to admit I was put off by that gold sole...a little too flashy for me...I know we're getting off topic, but do you have a photo of what it looks like now after wear? Curious...

Thank you, gents. I've obtained some cool sneakers during my tenure here, but fear I mostly wear them in an MC FU kind of way, rather than something that gels with an entire fit. Wonder if anyone has the same problem...
