Meis you're right, just when someone uses the sentence "extremely well made" I feel compelled to offer the counter superlative.

as I said I should probably just ignore such posts because I'm one of those people who will overstate my opinion.

how do these fit ?

Gentlemen, I'm pretty much wiped out as far as shoes go, but I still haven't gotten the ones that I wanted from the beginning.. KVA Mummy laces.

i'd prefer black but they are still at $580 or so.. Also I tried them on in the store and the tongue i guess is like calfskin.. really kind of delicate. Didn't get a chance to really get a feel for them so if anyone has them, can you let me know how these have worked out for you?

I also really like the ones that are half black / white.

they seem to be from 2010 and have a much lower profile.. anyone know anything about them? they're also about $100 less and might not be as annoyingly high. 

 

Also, I haven't been able to get much info on KVA quality.. seems they use the same sole as cp which is fine. Already copped a pair of lanvin and balenciaga, so i dunno if i necessarily need these but they seem unique and subtle enough to work with anything. 

and one more question, apologies in advance, does anyone know if KVA includes a set of extra laces, preferably in the opposite color?

Construction is nice, i have the ones from last season and they have been holding up quite well. I dyed mine black so maybe that'll do it for you its pretty easy. Black rubber soles look cheap imo. They do not come with extra laces and if you want to change them youll need to buy two per shoe iirc they measure about 14 ft.

I just got mine today, they are really nice, probably size down half a size. no extra laces and the tongue is uncomfortable until you can get it sit right... look good though with like slim black trousers or beat up raws

those low tops are pretty great looking

i like my black pair and the tongue is quite comfortable. I think a lot of people are lacing their shoe too tight

Got a question for you guys who have purchased Butteros. Are they as slim as CPs or is there more room in the front? Trying to decide if I should go down one in size as recommended or if I'll have to go tts as I have done with my CPs in order to accomodate my slightly wide feet.

Pretty much the exact same as CP. Compared my 43.5 butteros and 44 CP achilles. Width of sole was same, length was within 1/8".

hey guys, anyone know where I can find these buttero high tops? I can only find suede ones in the online retailers I know of



I'm looking mainly for the navy/black (?) ones, but any other of the colours in smooth leather are appreciated as well
