^ I've always wondered how the soles on her sneakers hold up. They seem to be relatively thin, like 5mm before it hits the leather portion. I really like the highs this season, but am hesitant to kop. I suppose you could have them resoled if needed, but...

If you take them to a decent cobbler before hand they can put on a relatively supple rubber layer at the sole which usually takes great care of ann's. I've had a pair of them before and they were great but sizing can be so iffy on them.

Not sure...I'm usually a 45/us 12. The lanvin's are a UK 11. They are a bit big (I can slip a finger between my heel and the shoe), which is maybe the problem. Lots of heel slippage when walking. But they were also chaffing my little toes , and I don't think I have wide feet. Everything I own is standard width. Thinking about trying a 10uk, but pretty sure they'd be too small. Does Lanvin even make 1/2 sizes? Never seen them stocked anywhere. Pretty disappointed. My favorite pair of all black chucks literally just disintegrated into now unwearable territory the other day, and these look great and were going to replace them.

Yeah that's what I was thinking too. I imagine it'd be a relatively easy job considering the flat sole.
Thanks.

ed, more than anything else I love things that edgy and a bit flash, but... are you really going to get those?? I mean, I feel like I have to be the voice of reason here.

$300-500? Check out Common Projects, Lanvin, Maison Martin Margiela, Dior Homme, Raf Simons, Pierre Hardy etc. Just google those brands and see what you like and come back to us with pics of the ones you like and we can critique/give more reccomendations. Some are a bit out of range... but can probably be had on B&S or ebay or some place for that range.
