Yes, there are all kinds of heel pads you can stick in the back of your shoes - check your local supermarket/pharmacy and try them out. Also, are you sure you're not stepping on/flattening the heel? My good friend has the worst hockey heel (heel spurs) you can imagine, and it's never destroyed a pair of shoes. It could just be the particular shoe or material, too - I have a pair of canvas vans that I've worn for, I don't know, four or five months, and they're totally destroyed.

im not stepping on/flattening the heel, i made it a point to be careful about that, and use my thumb to slide my foot into the shoe (too lazy to untie.. i just slip em on), and its for sure not damaging it. what i have is a small hole Directly where the bone protrudes - it even shows on my socks where the threading is much much thinner. ill look into heel pads, what kind of doctor can i ask about this problem? my pediatrician..? (im 17) anyways, thanks!
btw the shoe definitely isnt tight on me, or too loose. it fits normally.

Not worth the chedder for some beat ass shoes, but its pretty cool to see that the painted margielas were probably influenced by these:

You could ask for his opinion (though I'd assume it'd be about as good as one from someone at a specialty footwear store) but if you're super thorough you could ask for a referral to a podiatrist. A bit overkill though, imo, better to just think up a way to reinforce the back of the heel (also, if your experience is only in canvas-lined shoes, it should be noted that most here are leather-lined and quite a bit more durable)

idk man. they have the regular GAT branding on them, the BW 290 (size iirc) or whatever, i thought they were real at first because i saw the 22 on the tongue, but i dont think thats the case. plus he mentioned that he added the MMM insoles. i dont see why MMM would purchase a pair of stock GATs, have the office or whatever tag them, then sell them for like 10x more than theyre worth.

damn i want the real ones
You guys are missing the point. MMM bought up a bunch of vintage shoes from the 60s-70s, painted the soles white, and had each member of the team write something on each shoe. No shoe is the same. The branding is correct, these are part of the line 0 artisanal collection, not 22. The "original" bw sport insole was replaced by mmm, the seller didn't put in his own. Hilarious about arguing that these are fake, however I understand where you are coming from.
