I want to buy some baller sneakers, but the thing is every shoe ive ever owned has had the back (on the inside) destroyed. my heel bone protrudes more than the avg person i guess, and it always causes a rip/hole in the shoe in the back. how can i prevent this?? =[ i know if i buy a nice pair of shoes and just wear them this will eventually happen again, which is why im not going to buy any until i can fix this problem. is there some special padding i can put in the back?
Yes, there are all kinds of heel pads you can stick in the back of your shoes - check your local supermarket/pharmacy and try them out. Also, are you sure you're not stepping on/flattening the heel? My good friend has the worst hockey heel (heel spurs) you can imagine, and it's never destroyed a pair of shoes. It could just be the particular shoe or material, too - I have a pair of canvas vans that I've worn for, I don't know, four or five months, and they're totally destroyed.
