i bought these new, put a total of less than 5 miles in them, confirmed my suspicion:
these are too large for me
(im replacing them with identical pair in UK8.5E)

i am currently in UK and will ship them within UK only (for shipping/customs simplification)

220GBP paypal.

you get original box, cloth, and whatever else comes with them. the shoes are in 97%.... will provide photos on interest since this is I.C. (if no interest ill simply hold them until I move back stateside and sell US)

for what its worth, there are no customs issues shipping anywhere in the EU.

good luck with your sale though

side story: i ordered these from plal, paid for expedited shipping to US... and even w/ that it was so slow it did not arrive to my US residence in time (before i left) package bounced back to plal, i had to pay for shipping again, AND uk customs, AND uk (royal mail) surcharge on top of that to top things off, this identical situation played out with a pair of lowndes from bodileys oh, anyway, back on point, BECAUSE they are boots AND suede, i would say these UK9 fit those who are typically UK9.5 or US10.5

As a wearer of 9.5E Lowndes, I can confirm that the boot runs a bit large. I just tried a 9E Tetbury and it fit perfectly.

Too bad about the no shipping outside the UK bit, as I bought an identical pair in calf this morning.

Good luck with the sale.

^^ My experience has been the total opposite. I have a Hallam in 9.5 E and it fits perfectly. I bought both the Tetbury and Chiltern in 9.5 and found both to be too small for my feet.

if your hallam (348) are suede and tetbury (348) are calf and have moderate use i can see this. suede stretches more, and more easily i have lowndes (348) calf and tetbury (348) suede and they are opposite... and consistent with mssrs madness & chobo

Presumably they're dark brown and look like this.

real photos http://imgur.com/a/O7TLC/tetbury i didnt brush the nap to make it "perfect" - no scuffs or anything on the uppers -3% is for the 2-3mm scuff on the last photo

hrmm youre starting to make me think that my 9F foot would fit in what is usually a too narrow 348 9E.

the 348 last has a strong/acute taper towards the toe to give the sleek effect. that toe area though is largely unfilled, so it's more aesthetics than a "fit" thing.

fitting is standard in heel, standard in arch/midfoot (width and height). feels looser at the ball and toe area.

just my feet talking, though. you'd be best served trying it on at one of the stores (jermyn st/burlington arcade)

This is starting to give me ideas I could fit the Lowndes, as my foot is wider toward the ball of the foot.
