TBF that "fat guy" is James Corden who is possibly the least funny comedian on British TV, a remarkable achievement.

I really liked the Cybermat. And the location of the Cybership was an interesting twist. But the way the Cybermen were defeated was lame, lame, lame. Shame, as I'd enjoyed much of the episode before that. Cordon and Smith are really quite good together.

They're making a bump-n-go toy version of the Cybermat, I saw.

Anyone watch the season final? Dr Who is by far my favorite show on TV at this point. Loved the final.

I watched it and thought it was pretty weak overall. I knew what was going to happen from the beginning of the episode (in terms of how the Doctor was going to cheat death). I really feel like there was very little payoff in the episode, at least nothing I was excited about, and it just added a bunch more unanswered questions into the mix.

I liked it, and I'll be curious to see how they handle the Doctor's newly embraced anonymity.

Gotta agree with this. The whole thing was just a pointless exercise, the acting wasn't great, and the plot was idiotic. So the question is "Dr. Who?" Seriously? That's what we've been leading up to? Ugh.

That bit was stupid. How is it the oldest question in the universe? Way too meta for my tastes.

I still have not had a chance to watch the new Christmas Special. Loved the first one with the new Doctor.

Super cute, but I hope they don't kill off Amy Pond or anything. shog[1].gif

New fan of the show. Just marathoned the previous six seasons over the past 3 weeks or so. Matt Smith is the most believable Doctor (having not seen anything prior to 2005), but Tennant is still my favorite. I'm a little saddened by the fact that we only got to meet Sally Sparrow that once, but alas. She's too awesome to be a companion, I guess.

I started with Matt Smith and love his take on the character. Keep trying to get into Tennant's run, but it has not grabbed me in the same way yet. Odd to me considering how loved he is by fans of the show.

I couldn't get into any Dr. except for Baker, but this threak has me considering trying out Smith.

Just too many good memories as a child watching Baker as the Doctor on public broadcasting heh
