I've read two positive non-spoiler reviews of 'Dinosaurs...'. Considering that the author is the highly divisive (in fan circles, at least) Chris Chibnall, this may bode well

Yup, been seeing this too. Sounds like we are in for another treat. What I am most curious about is if we will see any hints to how "Clara" returns.

Need to give Torchwood a real shot. Does Face of Boe actually make an appearance in it?
Yup, I enjoyed it too. Great pacing and a lot of fun. I'm still missing the feeling that it's all "going somewhere" in terms of a season arc, but there is still time for them to start sneaking stuff in.
I'm sure you all caught the glance that the Doctor gave Amy after her side remark about something bad happening to her. Could this be hints to her character's ultimate fate? I do find myself hoping that the Ponds' ultimate fates do not lie in being killed off.
Have you all noticed that they have basically ignored River so far? I know it's only two episodes in and all, but they had the perfect opportunity to bring her up. Amy was asked if the Doctor had a "Queen." Yet nothing. Not even a mention. I wonder how much they will use her moving forward.
Also, I hope you are wrong about the Ponds Rambo. They deserve more then to be removed from the show in some random episode. What ever happens really should have meaning and feel connected to everything so far. I know the Wheeping Angles are the villains in their final episode, so who knows where they will go with that?

They made quite a big deal about her timeline moving in the opposite direction to the Doctor's; that means that their "relationship" ends when he finds out who she is, doesn't it? Also I got the feeling that she might well be being set up for a spin-off. They've put so many potential plot lines in play with her as a focus that it would be easy enough to create another Torchwood style series. All in all I'm not sure that it would be easy to make her work with Rory and Amy (her mum and dad) in a believable way now that they know who she is.
