Who will win this years Masters?

Simple Poll, just as the title says.

If you know golf well and have an informed opinion, go for it with an analysis.

I hope Tiger does not win but I think he will win ( just a hunch ). It would be one of his most memorable achievements in a fantastic career.

I'd like to see a real long shot ( with a real chance to win ) take it all.

K Choi is tied with Tiger after 3 and I'd love to see him win it all.

2nd and 3rd choices would be for Mickelson and Couples in that order.

But this poll is only for a winner and I'll go with Tiger.

Vote away.

Damn, you're quick. Obviously this is a good thread for a poll. I was arranging the poll while you posted.

Now go ahead and vote.

For Tiger to win he would need to have a monster round (67) and Mickelson and Westwood to both have poor rounds (70 or 71). I just don't see it happening. I'm not saying Woods can't shoot 67, and he very well might, but both Westwood and Mickelson playing poorly at the same time is unlikely.

Then again, it's not exactly as if either of them has a reputation for being clutch in Majors.

I wasn't able to watch today. Did Mickelson wear his manssiere?

Lefty was great today. And yes, he was wearing it, though he calls it "the bro".

I'm going to send a little love Lee's way.

Dude's playing well recently, did really well at a couple of majors last year (British and one other, I think), and...is the leader going in. Phil can crack under pressure just as much as Westwood, and I think (words I will surely regret) Tiger's too far back to catch both of them.

Nobody thinks Choi has a chance? He's pretty much matched Tiger round for round so far.

Really? This is a pretty uninformed poast. Anyway, Tiger is a great front runner, but I don't know if he has ever won a major in a big comeback, and I don't see it happening today. I certainly hope he does not win.

What about my post is uninformed?

FYI, Tiger has never won a major when trailing after 3 rounds. Let alone trailing by 4.

70 or 71 is not a poor final round at the Masters. 70 is average for winners over the last decade or so, which is to say well above average overall. Also, Hefty is pretty clutch now, despite himself.

Bad start for Tiger.

Ditto, surprisingly!

And though it is admittedly an extremely long shot, only 1 person out of 20 has picked Couples or Choi. If Couples or Choi win that would be quite a story.

With Tiger struggling I am really pulling for Couples and Choi!
