Keep an eye on 'em, and maybe you'll be able to find them for $19.97 after a few months

http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do...389&pid=408895

Not raw, though.

and no 34 inseam in a 29 or 30 waist. i guess if youre making clothes for a nation of fatasses you cant afford to make them.

Whoever took the upclose shots of that denim should be fired :P And damn, $100 for Gap?

Just noticed... zipper fly? Damn. I was kinda thinking of getting a pair with an employee discount from my old coworkers :P

Everyone is making something "selvage" these days because of the raw and selvage crazes. Gap, Banana Republic, J Crew, everyone. Doesn't make it any better quality, seems like the same crap they always make. IIRC, a few years ago, even Abercrombie and Fitch and American Eagle were making something selvage, don't know if they still are or not. Now I'm just waiting for Old Navy to come out with a selvage version of their painter pants, lol.

does the selvage on the cuffs look extra wide and flared out? A little loud for me. I think these will do poorly, not one person I know knows what selvage is, even my buddy who likes jeans a lot needed an explanation. SO I don't think the demographic for the Gap will appreciate or shell out for this.

by the looks of it they are using selvage as just another cool accent on the jeans. besides that they look like any other gap jeans. and the loud color makes it much less appealing to me. give me some redline, pinkline, blueline, greenline, not that.

The made in Italy gap 1969 line selvage jeans weren't half bad at all ..
but these arent them. the 1969 had button fly, selvage on the INSIDE of the coin pocket, and normal looking pockets. these look like thai fake gap jeans.

Of course I'm near a Gap Outlet when I'm on vataction when and these aren't out yet. I guess that there's always cheaper 1969 jeans.
